Do you find yourself thinking about baby names?

I am fairly young and i always find myself thinking about baby names and things like that. Don’t get me wrong, i know having a baby at my age is wrong and I am not planning on having a baby in the near future, but do any of you ever find yourself making lists of names you’d like to name your kids? Feel free to tell me them, i am always looking for good names

I always had an interest in different names, starting at a young age. I’m a 27 y/o mother now.
My favorite names are…
Anthony, Alexander, Zachary, Nicholas, and Mason for boys and

I’ve been thinking about them since i was like 5!!! What’s wrong with me??? I just love names….I dont know why….I always make lists and picture how they’d be lol if you want some of my favs:

yes, I am the same way. Way too young and waiting until marriage for all that but I love thinking of baby names. Its so fun and cute. Sometimes thinking about the future is fun and exciting

Haha, yes! I’m exactly the same. I’m 21 now and still not planning to have any kids yet, but I’ve been making lists of names for my future children since I was about 14! The names I liked when I was younger tended to be a bit crazy though.

I’m young too and I’m always thinking about names! I kinda obsess over them. Like if I see someone, I’m like, they don’t look like a ____ {Whatever their name is} they look more like a _____

i think its normal. i think youre just growing up. if not then were both weird cause ive been making baby name lists since i was 12..and thats dam near..well a long time. =)
the first name i was SET on for a girl was Torithra *(TOR-ITH-RAH..say it with me people its not that hard!)* with the nn Tori…
now i like Anya.

Every girl I know has thought about what she’s gonna name her kids since probably about the age of 14, and maybe even earlier. And guys think about it too, but probably not as early as girls.
Favourite boys names: Brandon and Levi
Favourite girls names: Noelle, Lilianna, Christina, Shaelyn

yes all the time. see i am a writer and with writing comes names. so i always have names running through my mind.with that i get all these names that i want to name my kids.

All the time!!! In sixth grade, my teacher had a bunch of baby name books, and I used to read them so much! That was probably when I started having an interest for names…
I like too many to name, but here are a few: Reina, Adrianna, Lark, Kristen, Isabelle, Riann(for a girl), Quinn, Jenna, Angela, Tyler, Julian, Adrian, Jasper, Eric, Dylan, Jarred, Warren, Sebastian.
Oh, and something fun I like to do is look at pictures of people and try and guess their name. Like, in a magazine where they tell you their name. Maybe their name is Eric, but I think they look more like a Ryan or something… People tend to look like their names, but I like to guess what their name is. And I don’t think I’ve ever once been right!

I’ve always known I would be a mother, and I’ve always had a list in my head of what I would name them. When I was about 9 or 10, I wanted 5 kids (used to a large family) and I wanted to name them Matthew, Nicole, Paige, Marina, and Johnny. Now I’m pregnant with my first, and it’ll be either Samuel James or Madeleine Claire. The other names I have picked out for later babies are Matthew Lee and Jeremy Michael for a boy, and Audrey Joan and Lucia Rose for a girl. luckytacs

When I was 16, I was visiting my sister, and her kids little friends were running down the sidewalk, one of the little girls names was Summer, after that day I was hooked on it. 8 years later I named my first daughter that.
I liked the name Grace since I was a young girl. I fell in love with this name from Little House on the Prairie. So my youngest girl has this name now.
Maybe our children’s names are somewhere already tucked into our hearts. We just have to look deep enough to find the name.
Now I’m looking for a girl name for my last daughter due in March. In kinder garden there was a Twin girl name Chelsea, I was so jealous of her, and I thought she had the cutest name, so maybe I might use that. I also had a best friend named Stacey, that comes to mind too. it’s a baby girl♥

Yes, of course! Hello, name nerd here. You’ll be surprised how many people in the BG section make name lists when they’re not expecting, and not planning on expecting any time soon. I mean, I’m young, probably the youngest in the BG section (I’m 12) but I’m a huge name collector. I don’t plan on having kids until I’m married, which won’t be till sometime after high school and university, but I love making name lists!

I’m like that too. I’m 21, and in a serious relationship but I’m not married and don’t plan on having kids just yet… but I still like thinking about baby names. (:
I have a very unusual name, both first and last (and I plan on keeping my last name)… so I’m rather fond of unusual names.
I want to name my first daughter Lorelei Madalaine, for a couple personal reasons. Not sure just yet about a boy name - but I like the name Silas. Quiet Riot
