My boyfriend and I are expecting our first baby in September.
We do not know the sex of the child yet.
For a girl we have selected the name Layla.
My boyfriends name is Ryan Patrick.
I would like to honor my boyfriend if we do have a baby boy but I am not going to go with his exact name.
So I like the name Rylan Patrick which is similar but gives the baby his own identity.
He likes Ryland Patrick.
Which do you think flows better?

Ryland Patrick
The surname is Burke.

I prefer Rylan, it sounds and looks better in my opinion. Ryland makes me think of a name of a town or a company/business name for some reason. Good luck! Hendy

I definitely prefer Rylan Patrick. I like the name Rylan much more than Ryland, and I also think that Rylan Patrick flows much more smoothly than Ryland Patrick - the combination of the D and P sounds next to each other make the name a little awkward to say. :] Pixie.
